  • Architecture Resources Repository (www.ITscout.org/architecture) is a compendium and clearinghouse of resources relevant to enterprise architects and software architects.  This knowledgebase is designed to be quickly and easily accessed by a diverse, yet totally untrained audience of casual, occasional visitors.

Throughout his 30-year career, Jeff has specialized in emerging information technologies. His expertise has spanned enterprise architecture, software architecture, SOA, client/server, object-oriented, and relational technology. He is respected as a nuts & bolts strategist who has had extensive experience solving exceedingly complex IT issues.

Over a million of Jeff’s IT Roadmap wall posters have been distributed worldwide since their original publication back in 1994.  This 5 poster series describes IT Infrastructure, Application Development, COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) Applications, and Business Intelligence. These posters provide an impressive, easy to read, hard copy reference of the IT industry.

Since 1983, Jeff has lectured to thousands of information technology professionals throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and the Far East.  He is regarded as a dynamic, charismatic speaker whose lively, fast-paced presentations capture audiences' imagination and attention.   He combines a broad, in-depth knowledge of IT with a unique enthusiastic speaking style that always includes high energy and great candor.

In addition to advanced degrees in cognitive psychology and computer science, both from Indiana University, Jeff has over 30 years experience in the computer industry.  Jeff served for over a dozen years as president for Hewitt Technologies, a division of Hewitt Associates LLC, and before that Database Decisions, Inc., a firm he co-founded in 1985.  Prior to Database Decisions, Jeff was employed by Digital Equipment Corp, IBM, Arthur Young & Company, and Control Data Corporation.
