ITguide™ Overview
Guide: (gìd) [noun]
1. One who shows the way by leading,
directing, or advising.
2. A person employed to conduct others and give information about points
of interest.
3. A guidebook that provides the most important information about a particular
subject.
ITguide is a very simple, very inexpensive, ASP-only Technology Portfolio
solution that enables ‘architects’ to create custom-tailored
technology architectures by modeling and documenting technology assets
(i.e., existing and projected technology investments). ITguide comes bundled
with the ITscout ROADMAP graphical models and category trees (www.ITscout.org),
thereby serving as an excellent starter kit for initially establishing
and communicating IT standards.
ITguide visualizes and communicates custom-tailored information about
technology architectures, portfolios and standards.
For individual users, user communities or defined projects, Flashmap
ITguide delivers a focused tool at an entry-level price. ITguide provides
navigation of technology architecture models for specific business applications
or projects which may be expanded to a global view with ITatlas,
as requirements expand.
